Obituary
Bessie May Brown was born January 14, 1929 to the union of Alex and Adele Hamilton in the State of Alabama in the city of Ensley.
After the separation of her parents, Bessie and her mother moved to Saint Louis, Missouri.
She was educated in the Saint Louis Public School system, attending Cole Elementary, Sumner High School. She then attended Forst Park Junior College(now Forest Park Community College) and graduated from Saint Louis University.
The most important event in her life was when she gave her life to Jesus Christ and equally as important was when she receive the Baptism of the Holy Ghost.
She served under the leadership of the late Elder R.A.Bishop, former pastor of Christ Community Temple C.O.G.I.C.
After the Lord called her into the Pastoral Ministry, she organized the Revival Center C.O.G.I.C. and served as pastor for many years.
After many years past, Mother Wince married Deacon Robert Wince and they lived contentedly until they were departed by death.
Pastor Brown transitioned, to take her final rest, on Friday, September 1, 2023 at Delmar Gardens Creve Coeur Nursing Home.
Deacon and Mother Wince and her brother Bruce preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memory 1 niece, Anita King, Spiritual son, William “Billy” Crawford, 1 God Brother, Tyrone Valentine, 3 God sons, Andrae(Brittie), Dustin Wesley, Dante Wesley(Renetta), Special children, Connie Johnson(Goddaughter), Rev. Maurice Jones(Joslyn)(God son), Wayne Barnes(Laurie), Bree(Goddaughter), God Grand Kids, Kenyatta Johnson, Shaneal, Cinnamon, Julia, Jason, Rachel Hendricks, Special cousins, Maudell, Doris, and Slim and a host of relatives and friends.
