Debra Aline Inge was born on January 11, 1962 in St. Louis, Missouri. She was one of a set of triplets born to the late Geraldine Reed Inge.
Debra departed from this life on September 3, 2026 while residing at her home. She will always be remembered and deeply missed.
Debra was a very lovable and cheerful person to everyone she met. She had a kind heart and was a joy to be around. She attended Church and participated in other activities that gave real meaning to her existence. She enjoyed life and life enjoyed her.
Debra was preceded in death by her sister Denise Brown and brother Charles Inge.
Debra began receiving supports from St. Louis Arc through the Day Program in1990 while living with her brother. In 1992, she began receiving supports through St. Louis Arc Residential, followed by Supported Employment in 1993. Through Supported Employment, Deb obtained a job at Pizza Hut, where she worked for the next 20 years. Deb spent her retired years attending Day Programs through Support Innovations which she continued attending up until her death.
Debra had two long-term roommates whom she considered her best friends and lived with for many years.
Debra was truly a ray of sunshine. She had a cheerful and optimistic personality and was an amazing advocate for herself. Deb loved talking with people and making new friends wherever she went. Anytime you visited Deb, you could almost always count on hearing her singing along to her favorite music.
Debra leaves behind to cherish her precious memories: her brothers ~ Duane Inge, Daryl Inge, and Addae Ahmad; and a host of loving nieces, nephew, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
