Eulah Victoria Foote

What follows is Eulah's story her way.

"I, Eulah Victoria Foote was born to James (Jim) and Lula Hughes on 10/8/1926, in Whaley, Mississippi; the 5th in line of 7 children.

I accepted Christ at the ae of 9 at 2nd Holly Grove M.B. Church under the pastorate of Rev. A. W. Jones. I joined the choir at age 13 and remained in choirs throughout my life. I was an usher and active in Sunday School. I am a diligent Bible student and love the Word of God.

I was in the medical field for 37 years. I graduated from the St. Louis Board of Education School of Practical Nursing 10/16/1959 and from Forest Park Community College School of Professional Nursing, St. Louis, MO, May 20, 1974 and spent my last 12 years of employment at VA Hospital where I retired October 31, 1991.

I have six children, deceased Bobby(Viola), Deborah Smith, Cornell White, Roxyanne Jackson(deceased), George Foote III(deceased) and David(Jackie) Foote; 3 grandchildren, Shannon(Brian) Parker, Jarret Smith(Andrea), Natasha(Ulysses) McNeely and 7 great-grandchildren, Chelsey, Caitlin, Casey, Jarret Jr. Joshua, Sebastian, Vaughn and special granddaughter Angela. I am preceded in death by my parents and all my siblings. I do not want a funeral, nor my casket opened for any reason."
