James Earl Jarriett Jr was born November 9th, 1976 to Joyce Carnes Brooks and James Earl Jarriett Sr. in St. Louis, MO. He was preceded in death by his father: James Earl Jarriett Sr; son: TiJean AM Bow; stepfather: Marvin Brooks; grandfathers: Isom Combs Sr and Eddie Johnson Sr; uncles Isom Combs Jr, Robert Lee Combs, Daryl Johnson; aunts: Alice Boyd, Jacqueline Combs, Mae Ida Davis and Ella Brown; cousin Mark Johnson.
James acknowledged his faith in Jehovah early in life. James attended Bishop Elementary and Eskridge High School in Wellston, MO. He worked many factory jobs and found joy in life with family and friends. He loved cooking and sharing laughs with his loved ones. He was a proud and loving father to his children. James shared a love for sports and had a passion for Darts and Dominos. He played in many Dart Tournaments across St. Louis.
James passed away on Monday November 17th, 2025, surrounded by family in friends. He leaves to cherish his memory; Mother: Joyce Brooks; children: Kymmora Jarriett, Jamerion Jarriett, Amir Easterwood and Ahnour James; Brothers: Antonie Jones, Michael (Deanna) Carnes, Andrew Jarriett; Sister: Bridgette Carnes; Grandmothers: Bertha Combs and Florena Johnson; Uncles: Walter (Alice) Combs, Rodger Combs, Eddie (Krystal) Johnson Jr, Kennedy Combs, Esther (Crystal) Combs and Jermaine Combs; Aunts: Marilyn Combs, Barbara (Darrell) Cain, Benita Combs and Cathy (Eddie) Simon; Special Lady: Miceala, who remained by his side until his last breath. Eric, Ronald, Sheman, Antonio, Dwight and Thomas (T-Red) were cousins/friends, but their bond was that of brothers. He also leaves to cherish his memory a host of family and friends. James was loved and respected by many and shared an infectious laugh that will truly be missed.
