Robert Leon Hill

Robert Leon Hill, also lovingly known as Leon passed away on April 29, 2023 at the age of 81. He was preceded in death by his father Louis Hill, his mother Calanthia Russell, his step father Hubert Russell, his loving sisters, Sarah Forrest and Denise Williams, his twin brother Leonard (at birth), his wife Beverly A. Hill, his son Steven C. Hill and his nephew Desmond Hadley.

He is survived by his brother Lewis D. Hill (Barbara Hill), his Sister Karen E. Hadley, his daughter Robyn Hill Easley(Jesse Easley), grandchildren Ryan, Kelli, Kamren and great granddaughter Laila. Nieces, Eloise (Jon Mclver), April (Kevin Cummings), Christie, Candice (Travis Ward). Nephews, Jamal, Jason, Daniel and Gavin. Great & great great nieces and nephews. Numerous loving family members and friends.

Robert Leon was a quarterback at Vashon High School. After graduation, he was employed by the US Postal office.He retired from the Postal Service in 2006. Throughout his years he enjoyed traveling with his wife. Also cherished his time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He was an avid sports fan that enjoyed traveling to track meets with his buddies and attending high school football games. Once a week he would drag the neighbors trash cans to the curb for pick up and deliver ST. Louis American Newspapers to neighbors. He was a believer in Christ and a member of West Side Missionary Church.

He will always be remembered for his willingness to assist and support others. He also had a keen sense of humor.

May God be pleased with his soul. His life is imprinted in all that experienced him. He will be greatly missed.
