Yvette Lowman Obituary

Yvette Denise (Brasfield) Lowman,” Nerkie”, 61 of St. Louis, MO passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at 9:06 pm at the University of Minnesota hospital in the company of her children and grandchildren. Her passing was caused by complications due to brain cancer. She was born February 20, 1960, in St. Louis, MO to Samual Saul and Mary Victoria (Thomas) Brasfield. 

Yvette was a loving mother, grandmother, and generous friend who loved her family beyond measure. She loved to dance, golf, bowl, and had a talent for creating beautiful floral arrangements. She spent her days spreading love and laughter across St. Louis, MO, Minot, ND, San Antonio, TX, and Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. Yvette was of Christian faith and a member of Alamo Community Church in San Antonio, TX. She worked for JP Chase Morgan for the past 7 years.

She leaves to cherish in her memory her two children: Jarvis Mandré Beard (wife Stacey Lynn Beard) and Ashley Jénelle Beard of Minnesota, three grandchildren: Javon William Lange, Tysen Steven Beard, Kamren Jae Beard, her mother: Mary Victoria (Thomas) Brasfield, her siblings: Michael Hiram Brasfield (wife Tammi Brasfield), Antoinette Maria Brasfield of St. Louis, MO and her nieces and nephews: Tyler Brasfield, Stephen Brasfield, and Xavier Brasfield (wife Bri Brasfield) and nieces, Danielle Harper, Vanessa Brasfield, Natasha Brasfield. She was preceded in death by her father Samuel Saul Brasfield, brother, Sterling Brasfield, and great-nephew, Kaahaj K. Buchannon. She will be dearly missed.
